Bourbon Glaze
Simple, all purpose bourbon flavored glaze
Ingredients
- 250 g sugar, powdered
- 1.5 fl oz bourbon (airplane bottle)
- 2 fl oz water
- 10 ml vanilla extract
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil.
- Add your bourbon. Let boil for 30 seconds to cook off alcohol
- Let cool.
- Add vanilla.
- Whisk together with powdered sugar. Ensure everything that can be wet is wet.
- Let rest about 5 minutes to ensure all the sugar is hydrated.
- Pour over your victim.

Notes
This is a super simple glaze for use on bundt cakes or doughnuts. You aren't obligated to cook off the alcohol, but it can be a bit overpowering.
Use a good bourbon.
