Bourbon Glaze

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g sugar, powdered
  • 1.5 fl oz bourbon (airplane bottle)
  • 2 fl oz water
  • 10 ml vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to a boil.
  • Add your bourbon. Let boil for 30 seconds to cook off alcohol
  • Let cool.
  • Add vanilla.
  • Whisk together with powdered sugar. Ensure everything that can be wet is wet.
  • Let rest about 5 minutes to ensure all the sugar is hydrated.
  • Pour over your victim.

Notes

This is a super simple glaze for use on bundt cakes or doughnuts. You aren't obligated to cook off the alcohol, but it can be a bit overpowering.
Use a good bourbon.
